Ok, i'm officially bored with this. I am canceling my passport account. It's not worth following the live stream "hoping" something will happen. And blurring out the nudity on "live" feed is the killer for me!

reality tv typecasts the hell out of people. they want personality and demographical archetypes to fulfill preexisting roles in peoples' minds. you see it in the amazing race, survivor, etc.

Which is what made The Joe Schmoe show so much fun

Are you assuming they could pull more than a couple people together and get instant harmony?

I think you're pretty delusional if you do. There are bound to be hiccups, just like there are in real life, as they work towards making it a better place for everyone.

I laughed my ass off that the redneck and the convict formed their own state and threw a BBQ to try to lure in more dissidents.

To me, the show is perfectly illustrating the concept that people just ultimately aren't going to coexist and the planet is doomed.

Have to be honest, it's intriguing, but what terrible characters.

 

 

Wish they would have been true to the concept.  Couple of things that are pretty stupid.

 

Waterfall from nowhere.

 

People bathing/swimming in some of the only "clean" water that they would have.

 

Shouldn't be running water, boil or purify what is there.

 

Too many structures.

Plus, wouldn't the farmer have told them that you can't plant vegetables in the shade?

Not really surprised it had a really good premise lot of people were turned off by the drama.

The wife and I both agree...it is fugging terrible.  We rarely agree on anything so it must be awful.

If you want to see where political correctness falls in the grand scheme of things then watch with amusement at people trying to establish a utopia..
