There is a GREAT show called Utopia out of the UK though.

I'll give it a looksee when it comes on out here on the West Coast. Though, didn't they have another show that was similar to this? Wasn't it called the Colony, or something or that?

Colony was actually good. This show needs better writers.

Yeah the Colony was pretty cool...I'm giving Utopia a chance, but so far there's really nothing going on. I want to see them making things, trading, fighting people off, whatever. Not get drunk in a yard and yell about religion. I have the Tinderbox for that.

It looks like they are taking a bunch of people that would hate each other and sticking them together and calling it "utopia". Isn't utopia a place where everyone agrees and gets along?

14 yo daughter was watching it last night, so it was on while we were eating dinner.  The 20 minutes I saw were God fuging Awful.

I watched about 20 minutes of it and finally had to turn it off. It was awful.

 

It would actually be awesome to see an experiment like this run, but the only way you'd get any true results from it would be for it to not be a television show.

I watched it all and it seemed so unnatural like a bad Mexican soap opera..I love reality TV so I will give it one more episode before I bail. I'm just waiting to find out these are paid actors.
