I've seen Kasay and that soccer loving dude do it plenty of times. Come out and kick while BMX guys were still doing stunts, dogs were still catching frisbees, kids were still dancing, etc.

Perhaps.  But the band should know you can't come out late and expect to keep playing on the field when the second half is about to start.  The Bucs personally apologized to Gano after the game.

I can't believe the Redskins cut Gano

 

He was Oh No Gano in Washington.  He missed so many pressure kicks.   My friend a Redskin fan laughed so much when we signed him.

I didnt think it was cool that he pushed one of the kids out of the way. I wouldnt be too happy if someone put their hands on me while I was trying to play my instrument. It was awkward but oddly funny though.

Their halftime performance means nothing. Gano is an elite professional athlete, his reps are FAR more valuable than the bands little performance in front of a crowd that isn't even paying attention to them.

They band came out with 3 minutes to go. They were unorganized and late. Sorry, not ready for prime time.

And anyone that questions the need for reps at halftime clearly has zero clue about sports in general. Zero. Anything sports related is 90% repetition.

My G/F is a former marching band member.  They took it really serious.  She was breaking down how the guy stayed focused and wasn't distracted.  It was like listening to football analysis during half time.  HAHAHA  I laughed so hard.  That was a moment for sure!

Besides the Redskins having a fugged up organization in general. Gano, did have a bad stretch there with the Redskins. So it's understandable why they cut him. He's always had a big leg. However, he had some accuracy issues at the time.
