What we learned about today's game against Tampa Bay

I saw Mike Evans clearly pull down a guy from behind while McCown ran for the first.

Yea and they never called holding even though they were clearly mugging our guys. That's probably why we kept getting so close to sacks but didn't get as many as we should have.

The pressure was there but so was the holding.

I don't care if he's a back up lol. He's an NFL player, play the game like you want to win. You're at midfield with a minute left and 3 timeouts. That's poor game management by Rivera and co.

There's no debating it IMO

Good win though. Very happy we won in a hostile environment in our division

now I understand why Shula and Rivera catch so much sh*t

After looking at the schedule, I can see him returning week 7 against Green Bay. That would give him that full 8 weeks to heal.

Depends on how bad it is. It seems like it will only be a few weeks to heal and it's already been two weeks so I think he will be back healthy soon.

What I learned from today:

1. Oline depth - We saw many variations of the oline and really they did a great job. We gave up 1 sack but that was on a busted play. I think Anderson did a great job getting the ball out quickly and helping make them look good. They also opened up some good holes especially for Williams.

2. Wrs - We are way better this year then last. Sure hands and with an absolute potential beast with KB. I also love what Cotchery and Avant brought with some great 3rd down catches. Also surprised on how many offensive plays Philly Brown was in on even though I don't think he caught a ball.

3. Tes - Olsen amazing as always. Didn't see much from Dickson. Still hoping to see Brandon Williams in the future. But I do like the bootlegs to the TE that we saw twice today.

4. QB - Anderson is an extremely underrated backup qb!!

Defense

1. Awesome dline rotation. We seem to be always fresh which I like.

2. Luuuukkkkkkkkkeee!!

3. Like what I saw from Bene. He seemed good in run support and made an imp fumble recovery.

4. Finish! They got a little slack at the end, but I love our defense!
