All you Anderson and R.R haters please stand up

They won with a guy who hadn't started in years...they did what they had to do without Cam.That alone is an accomplshment that many thought couldn't happen.

Yeah, but you're post was ill timed, cause Anderson was missing throws through out the game. And he got noticeably nervous in the 4th quarter when the game mattered.

That was an awful throw late in the game to a wide open receiver (pressure or not). Cam makes that throw often with guys in his face.

Ron/Mike's slow down offense, cost KB his 100 yard game. But of course, we know the win is what counts (even if we're sweating bullets).

I admit I was pessimistic but I'm super stoked at the outcome. Why McClown made those throws I'll never know but I'm glad he did. Anderson was good enough to win and that's great but I can't support him as the guy for any length of time. We need cam and to say otherwise is just dumb.

Derek Anderson was outstanding.

I'm not going to be a sissy about it.  I had no confidence in him and I was 100% proven wrong.  Now, he still had his fair share of inaccurate throws, but he played within the system, didn't make any mistakes (outside of that near Pick 6), and proved capable of directing our offense for at least the first game.  We need Cam Newton to get back in pronto but I will give Anderson his rightful credit.  He put us in a position to win the game.

You can't back DA, but he made the o line a none issue with quick reads pre and post snaps.

Let me point out.old R.R would have kicked the FG instead of going for it on 4th down (especially with a back up QB playing). Most coaches would have taken the sure points..instead he got 7.If Gano doesn't miss that FG it would have been 23-17.The defensive melt down at the end was not pretty, but they won.
