Leave godfrey in fuging Tampa Bay

i've stated that he made a nice stop on 3rd down and was flying to the ball helping clean up tackles that's about it,

He was constantly "cleaning up" tackles and when he didn't have help he couldn't tackle. I saw him get beat to much. The stop was a great tackle he surprised me but other then that your examples leave a lot to be desired. He can't play one on one period if he doesn't have help he gets beat. That maybe sufficient in your eyes but I disagree. When your the guy on film looking confused near a big play I think that blame falls on your shoulders. Godfrey is one of those guys that always disappoints me.

he's a safety what do you mean one on one, we rarely run man coverage with our safety's..........i just said he played solid and he did, this "I saw him constantly get beat" is a myth because if that's the case TB would have taken advantage of that. Any non panther fan would have said the same, godfrey played fine.......if you want to gauge that wait till this Sunday then talk to me

I had a near panic attack when Decoud was limping off the field and imagined a Roman Harper/Godfrey saftey tandem.

No straws being grasped here. Godfrey constantly played badly, he wasn't good except one tackle. One! The rest he was bad and if a player gives up so much from bad play then he's not worth it. He can play great 99% of the time but if all his 1% bad plays are on things that loose us the game then he should be gone. Period.

You're not saying how or why he's bad, but just that he is bad. Explain why, something more than he sucked besides one good tackle. That actually tells me he made a good play , but doesn't mention any bad plays.

They did take advantage of it. Once when he missed a tackle and gave up 26 yards and again when a touchdown was scored..... I bet they would have more if our front 7 weren't so damn good.

You could also do the same and point out 3 plays he made including coverage, assignments, and how the play was designed versus us. You say the burden of proof is on those who disagree but it goes both ways bud. Nothing stoping you from doing your due diligence either. Prove to me I'm wrong or shut up and let me have my opinion.

Tampa was targeting "C-God" the whole game.  He is a weakness in our D.  Not just the blown coverage and TD.  There were other plays where TB was looking to exploit him.

Thought he played great in the first half. Just a couple errors in the second. Still better than Haruki.

how is that 26 yarder picking on him when the play was made on the opposite side of the field???He came over to make the tackle.........this is a prime example of grasping at straws, The touchdown was on cover 2..........please go back and look at the highlight you will see V jax in the middle of the field open, it was either godfrey cover him or he covers the other guy..........clearly some in here didn't watch the game, our front 7 is good but McClown held the ball several times longer then he was suppose to that's due to good coverage in the secondary, also the allowed one pass over 20 yards....you guys are using godfrey as yet another scapegoat

Like I said, I have not watched to coaches film yet. So why would I have an "opinion" yet of a position that get less air time than anybody else on the regular broadcast? 

 

I have no idea if he sucked or not. I am not saying anything about that. I am just says that there is no way knowing yet.
