I had a near panic attack when Decoud was limping off the field and imagined a Roman Harper/Godfrey saftey tandem.

If you watched the game you'd agree. That TD that called back bc he was outta bound? Yeah Thomas Davis tipped it and Godfrey should have been there for a int he was so close but playing slack he wasn't. Godfrey is king of "oh if he had just" plays. Missed tackles, bad coverage, bad positioning. He did all of that this game

that would have been a pick if td didn't tip it(still a good play by td)  godfrey was in the throwing lane......that was a pure fluke play

 

 

the td he supposedly gave up look like cover 2, and there was a guy in the middle of the field he was covering.......it was a more of a pick your poison type situation ...but i'll wait to see what Rivera says, looks like the same play against Sea last year

 

 

other then those two plays the guy played solid all around, people are grasping at everything possible to whine, if it ain't shula it's rivera, if not it's d will if not it's godfrey and so on

No straws being grasped here. Godfrey constantly played badly, he wasn't good except one tackle. One! The rest he was bad and if a player gives up so much from bad play then he's not worth it. He can play great 99% of the time but if all his 1% bad plays are on things that loose us the game then he should be gone. Period.

examples please......because besides the one tackle he was in the backfield helping contain the running game

 

you guys got you targets set on godfrey sucking so much some ignore the fact that TD gave up a touchdown because he was out of position........the dude played fine

Heck go read the twitter feed of the best writers. They pointed out some of the garbage nicely before the TD occurred.

Godfrey isn't a S. Been saying it sense he arrived....hopefully that will be the last we see of him. Vets S are better playing behind our front.....he isn't the definition of a vet S. Just a bad one
