Glad to have been on the KB bandwagon predraft and sooooo glad we picked him. How many of you are glad we got KB over Cooks?!? We've seen 5'9" guys coming out for a decade talking about being the next Steve Smith but as we all know there is only one.

Cooks is a perfect fit with Drew Brees though.  He is going to be a monster in his own way.

I had KB as my top WR before the draft, I remember my friends all laughed at me and said Watkins/Evans will be on another level than KB. I don't look so stupid now. They were all sending me texts throughout the game about how they were wrong about KB lol.

Im gonna go with the over on TDs. I think Cam is gonna feed this young guy. I wouldn't be surprised if they break at team record or something. This guy looks hard to defend. He's a big mismatch

I don't know.  In the right system, he can be a pretty big time player.  All receivers rely on their QB, so you can say that about any big time QB retiring.

My only concern with KB right now is and maybe it was just the heat, even though I saw a decent bit of it in the preseason.... he seems to give up on plays and doesn't finish his blocks down field. Which I think the latter is the fact he's scured to get a penalty somehow with his size vs. those tiny DB's. As the announcers said he didn't watch film in college. It kinda shows so far. BUT as RR says those things will come with time.

 

A good case would be about 8:15 seconds left in the first quarter, he is the only player standing between the top high defenders and the sideline DW was trying to get to stretch a big one down field.
