Cam out

I wouldn't be mad if they said Cam was out at the beginning of the week, but don't bullshit the fan base into thinking we would be watching our starting qb. Ron is full of so much fugery it's bullshit, I'm probably just going to stop watching his pressers because it's clear he just talks out of his ass.

Makes you wonder, if it was really the ankle, and the Panthers are just not saying.

Or maybe this rib fracture/contusion, is so minor and superficial, they think it can "magically" heal in a week.

We'll see?

I wish it was just the ankle cause then we wouldn't have to worry about IR, but he was moving all around in practice this week.

C'mon man, you know better than that. Better to keep Tampa having to prepare for two different scenarios than to have us in the know.

they're saying a fractured rib takes anywhere between 2 to 6 weeks to fully heal depending on the severity of the injury.

Since it occurred in the 3rd preseason game, it's already been 2 weeks.

If we can have a healthy cam by week 3, I'd honestly take that than starting him today and having the rib injury linger on all year.

Again, these are some of the top medical professionals in the industry diagnosing cam. Lets trust the decisions that are being made.

fug fugity fug fug

We all know deep down this will be a loss

I already have a wife that tells me what to think. So you don't mind if I don't listen to you do ya?

Just got done saying in another thread that I thought maybe our fan base was growing up. Man was I wrong. The season is not over. Cam is not going on IR. It is not Rivera's fault Cam has bad ribs. If Cam thought he could play, I am sure he would put up a whale of a fight to do so.

On the other hand. Oh no, the season is lost. Damm, you kids slay me.

Look, Cam is either on IR or not. Fractured ribs don't magically heal in a week. If he has to sit this week, but plays next, then it makes no sense for him to sit today. He will be feeling the same next week as today. He is out today, therefore we should look out for him going to IR soon. If he plays next week, everyone should rage about why he didn't play week 1.

As long as he can convince everyone that Cam is on his deathbed, RR knows he can lose as much as he wants and nobody will hold him accountable.  It will all be Cams fault for not sliding when he was supposed to slide.  If we win it proves hes a great coach, if we lose its what everyone expected anyway.  Its a win/win for RR.
