Cam out

If Cam cant throw we probably went from 40% chance to win to 80% chance to win it.

Nah. We couldn't run on this team last year with an OLine that was much better and pretty much relied on Newton being able to extend plays. Anderson isn't in the same league at QB, isn't as mobile and has a worse line plus the Schiano factor is gone.

40% or so.

Edit: Not arguing the decision to sit Newton. It is what it is.

Look, Cam is either on IR or not. Fractured ribs don't magically heal in a week. If he has to sit this week, but plays next, then it makes no sense for him to sit today. He will be feeling the same next week as today. He is out today, therefore we should look out for him going to IR soon. If he plays next week, everyone should rage about why he didn't play week 1.

Makes you wonder, if it was really the ankle, and the Panthers are just not saying.

Or maybe this rib fracture/contusion, is so minor and superficial, they think it can "magically" heal in a week.

We'll see?
