Cam out

The clear picture to me is that the Panthers have been taking the Bucs lightly all week. Not a good team, career backup starting at Qb; we obviously think they are not that much of a concern. While i dont agree with this thought process it may be the best one to take for THIS game. Dont see this happening with better teams we have to play.

Broke out my medical book.  It said fractured ribs take 3-6 weeks to heal.  Next Sunday's game will be three weeks and two days after he injured it, so a week could make a difference.

Well, by this decision/logic, we better hope he's healed by next week (i.e., the third week, though he's been practicing), otherwise, how long to you keep him out?

Oh man do I agree with this. The Bucs are taking us way more seriously than we are them. For a team with our track record, that is incredibly foolish.

You keep him out until he is healed. JFC, it's why they have backups, and you don't IR your starting QB over a 6 week injury. You also don't risk long term health over one damn game. If it fugs the season, so be it, poo happens. I don't want him playing hurt if he can't play 100%. They will play the hand they were dealt and they realize these guys are human beings. It's just a damn game, some of y'all need to grow the fug up.

Who's to say that Cam himself said he would rather not risk it? Do y'all think he had absolutely no say in this?
