Get ready to see Anderson start

No he didn't.  He showed up for the 30 minutes the press got to watch.  The latest reports say DA was the one taking the reps during the actual practice not shown to the media.

This is where i'm getting my info

"Newton was sore in practice this week. He missed Wednesday's practice and was limited Thursday. The Panthers quarterback practiced fully Friday."

And even voth tweeted Cam was a full participant Saturday and ran the 1st team.

Forgive me for not diving a darn about what past QB's did with their own injuries.

I'm more concerned with our QB whom is supposed to lead our team into the future, the QB whom hasnt really been able to practice and play at 100% because of the surgery during camp and the preseason, and the QB whom RR cant seem to control to the point that he puts himself out there to get hit/reinjured again.

I'm not a fan of other QB's. I'm a fan of OUR team and care far more about our future to not base what Cam can or should do off comparisons of what others have done. Too many factors dictate such situations

I'm a fan of the Panthers too, and #1 gives us the best chance of winning. Derek Anderson is so great the Bucs didn't even feel the need to prepare for him at all.

What was published on the panthers site was that during stretching Cam left and went inside. Bad sources, my apologies to everyone.

You arent wrong and no need to apologize. People seem to ignore the fact that RR refused to say whether or Cam cam actually made passes Thursday, and also seem to miss the fact that he said "the reps we wanted him to take"

There is a big difference between the reps a healthy Cam takes, and the reps an injured QB take suffering through soreness of a fractured rib.

Cam took some reps..yes. But I will bet money they were not the same kind of "reps" he would have been doing were he not injured. Therefore, the reps some speak of to justify his readiness falls flat
