Get ready to see Anderson start

You tend to over react don't you.

Are you trying to dispute that losing week 1 last year may have cost us a Super Bowl? Because that would be disputing the facts.

There's no overreaction to losing a game in this sport. It's not something an organization can just take in stride. This isn't a marathon afterall. It's a sprint and every game is of incredible significance

Nothing I said means I should eat crow. If your players can play in a division game, play them. These games you don't go conservative. It almost bit us in the ass in the end.

you took a pretty strong stance saying an injured cam gave us a better chance to win than a healthy derek anderson, which was clearly not the case.

Yes you should eat crow.

Yes Cam that is even a fraction of himself still gives us the best chance to win. It opens us our playbook more and not to mention he's the leader of the offense. I believe we would've had more points on the board than we did today. The game was a little too close for comfort.

Btw, him sitting out with the ribs worries me very much seeing him land on the IR since ribs can't feel much better after 7 days. I hope I'm wrong, but I kind of believe we're delaying the inevitable.

the close game wasn't on derek anderson, it was on the conservative play calling in the last quarter and our defense being gassed.

DA played a helluv a game, and did give us a better chance to win than cam would have if he started.

As far as the injury, fractured ribs take 2-6 weeks to fully heal depending on the severity. It's already been two weeks and if we sit him against detroit, that means he'll have 4 full weeks of healing before starting game 3, which is when I think he'll be back.

Allowing DA to start shows coaches and all of us that we have a competent backup now, and we don't have to worry about rushing cam back now knowing DA can fill the void and is more than competent to lead this offense in CAM's absence.

You really think the caliber of QB Cam is, that he is a lesser QB even with an injury than DA? I don't think so. This is why I think the injury is more severe and we'll wait till midseason to see if he can come back.
