Get ready to see Anderson start

when you put it like it sounds like i'm retarded and want my qb further injured. that is furthest from the truth.

it's actually funny the ones who are saying this are the ones who are Cam's biggest supporters on here and stuck with him through thick and thin last year with our 1-3 start when people were screaming that Cam lacked the "it" factor. CRA, myself, Aceboogie, Growl were always and unequivocally behind cam.

my thing is he will be playing with this all season. he will be dealing with pain all season. he will be dealing with the risk of further injury all season. broken ribs won't heal regardless if he plays week 1 or week 2 or week 3.

that is the logic we are using. this is what it is.

So basically, you are assuming the injury isn't that significant and Rivera is punting against a division rival, on opening week, because he is "Afraid" his franchise QB will get hurt "more".

That's a lot of assuming.

Sounds like Stoic Ron to me, always on the defensive.

no i just think rib injuries are always significant. but history has shown qbs play through them. I get Cam being a different breed of qb but using that logic he won't be ready week 2 or week 3 or poo 6 full weeks.

it's also a lot of assuming that he can't play through the rib injury. we only have certain reports to go by and people form their opinion based on that.

Well it's good to see the team give in and concede this rather than go out there and win. About time.

Also, it's way better when we fly under the radar and people underestimate us. We need to lose more games so more people do that so we can be good again.

So we already lost the game? No point in watching it I guess. Hey so what are the winning lotto numbers while you're at it

There is nothing worse than the "stoic ron" bullshit

I can't imagine a scenario where a Head Coach doesn't let a player like Cam Newton play in a divisional game, if that player is able to play.

Ron is known to be overprotective of his players. Again it's just my opinion but it created a lot of butthurt responses and posters acting like i wanted Cam to get injured further.

we will more than likely never know if it was Ron being too overprotective of his franchise, or if Cam just couldn't get it done.
