Is it just me or did the panthers gain some territory in SC from last year

 

i do believe you are right. i think the team is finally starting to gain ground in SC. seems like support has been trending up the past few years. hopefully the Panthers start winning perennially. that would spell the death knell for all the cowboys, redskins, and steelers fandom in SC. the sheer number of new Panthers fans would outnumber them. 

 

we were all bandwagon fans at one point, thats how a fanbase is built. succeed and win support from the locals. continue succeeding and give them something to put their heart into. eventually the bandwagon fans become the die-hards, if the team gives them a reason to go all in. to me, bandwagon fans are simply fans that are scared to commit for fear of disappointment. best cure for that is for the team to become a perennial contender, give the bandwagoners something they can trust.

This is pretty solid Panthers country.  There are some transplanted homers but it's pretty solid Panthers throughout S.C.  If anything I would say there are plenty of Falcons fans the farther south you go.  Makes sense because some people live closer to Atlanta than Charlotte.

So happy to have that disgusting Steelers yellow completely out of NC!  fuging bandwagon Steelers fans.  It looks like we even had some Cowboys dominated counties back then too.  Amazing what making the playoffs combined with years of mediocrity from other teams will do for your fanbase.
