Are you fuging kidding me?  Our analyst is Ronde Barber, the lifetime retired Tampa Bay Buc player??  

 

I'm sure this will be like watching a TB telecast.  How can they justify putting him on this game when there are so many others?

Is there an over/under on how long it takes for them to say that we lost all our receivers and there is no chemistry with the QB (no matter which one plays).

 

Answer me this Rhonda:  Isn't MRSA Bay bringing in a new QB?  How much chemistry does he have with his receivers?

I know this site hated him, but I loved the guy. His "Movin the Chains" Sirius show was my favorite all time sports radio talk show.

IIRC Ronde has been very complementary of the Panthers in the past.  He should know he was dribbled by Stewart like he was a Spalding.

That may be true and if we weren't actually playing against HIS FORMER TEAM, I would be okay with it.  I'm not saying he will discredit us but I imagine it being a giant TB slurpfest.

I really don't think it will be. There is no one left from Barber's days on the team, so I doubt he has an affinity for them. Plus he is a really smart dude unlike most announcers so he should know to keep it neutral, possibly even skew towards our side so not as to give off a Tampa bias.

 

 

We'll see but I'm just glad it's not Tim Ryan or Joe Buck.

OMG.  Fans are so touchy.  Who really cares what the announcers say?  They don't control the outcome.  I miss the days when an announcer can say something negative about a team without the entire fan base crying about it.
