What reports and who was saying it? You have to take everything with a grain of salt. As you said his ribs are going to be sore and if he takes some hits on them they could get worse. But don't assume that they are going to tell you one way or the other.

I go by the adage that you should believe very little of what you hear and only half of what you actually see when it comes to NFL reports.

So are you saying he hasn't been a full participant in the last two practices and those reports are inaccurate? Including Dwill who was quoted saying "#1 ain't limited today"?

Cammy Cam is gonna play. Two weeks removed from hairline fractures? Come on. Quarterbacks play with these jackets all the time. You don't sit Cam Newton for week one against a division opponent when he has a manageable injury. The man is gonna play.

All injuries and QBs are the same. I wonder what percentage of those guys pulled themselves at practice while stretching 4 days before the game

You sound like a 14 year old who hasn't reached abstract thinking yet. Again if he plays then he is good to go, if he doesn't then he isn't . Anything else people said may be true but just as easily could be spin. Anyone who actually takes what any of them say without seeing with their own eyes is naive at best. And be sure you actually saw what you thought you did since eyewitness testimony is one of the least reliable sources of informations.

We won't know. A conservative coach may simply have a different mindset vs another coach.

Good to go....can mean a lot. All comes down to how much risk a HC wants to take and that varies

If you want to take every quote given to the media to heart, take what Cam said directly that he wouldn't play unless he is 100%. No way he is 100%
