Seriously though, broken ribs can be a nag, and there's not much you can do but let them heal on his own.  I would hate for the hairline fracture to get worse.  It can affect his breathing and being able to muscle the ball around, not to mention it hurts like heck.  I can understand why Ron would hold him out of practice to give that rib every opportunity to heal and not get worse.

With all that being said, I'd be surprised if #1 isn't out there on the first offensive series.

Voth has no clue whether he plays or not, nor does any of the other Charlotte media. They had an extra practice this week on Monday which Cam took part in fully, plus he threw this past weekend, it makes perfect sense that they wouldn't want him to take on extra practice in his condition, so he rests on Wednesday and is limited on Thursday.

It's real simple, if he can make all the throws and protect himself, then he plays. Unfortunately, the Panthers are doing a great job of being very coy about the whole thing as they should.

Many, many QB's have played with this injury after only a week of rest, I think he plays but I'm just guessing like Bill Voth, whoever that is.

There's no doubt in my mind that Cam wants to play but first off, I do think that there's a chance he starts and not finish or either doesn't play at all and second, RR doesn't strike me as the type to throw BS.

I am currently at 90% he doesn't play based on first hand info.

I'd be very very surprised if he doesn't play. That being said, I'm more worried about him missing all these practices and being rusty and out of sync with his new batch of WRs.

 

Luckily we still have a dominant defense and the Bucs should only score from 9 to negative 30 points.
