Todd Gurley in the Late First Round?

I like this idea, people who are scared to death that they don't want to draft a RB in the first round is because we haven't drafted a running back like AP, Lynch and such talent.

That said, our OL still is the bigger issue, no one can run well behind it.

- DeMarco Murray (DAL) Round 3

- Le'Veon Bell (PIT) Round 2

- Rashad Jennings (NYG) Round 7

- Knile Davis (KC) Round 3

- Alfred Morris (WAS) Round 6

- Lamar Miller (MIA) Round 4

- Chris Ivory (NYJ) Undrafted

- Matt Forte (CHI) Round 2

- Frank Gore (SF) Round 3

- Justin Forsett (BAL) Round 7

These are the top ten yardage gainers in the NFL this season so far.

The highest first rounder on the list is Marshawn Lynch at number twelve.

Gore had a serious injury coming out if I'm correct.

Forte was a sleeper pick. That 09 class was a deep one at the RB position.

The other guys you listed above were drafted later due to the high passing copy league.

The running game is coming back and teams want to run the ball. You finally have a draft with legitimate RB like Gurley and Gordon. It's a longshot hoping you will find an Alfred Morris. Better to be safe than sorry. You take Gurley or Gordon if they're BPA.

A source told FOX Sports that the investigation into Gurley is focused on whether the star back received benefits for his likeness from memorabilia brokers. An investigation into Johnny Manziel last seasonstemmed from similar allegations.

Honestly, it might be a good thing for him if he misses some time. It's nothing criminal, so it doesn't really hurt his draft stock, he now gets to get healthy for the NFL Combine. Everyone already knows what he can do.

Would love to have Gurley. Gordon is nice and all but Gurley has dominated the SEC. He's a freak when it comes to size speed combo (like Megatron, AP, etc)

He can run over you (see freshman year in SEC champ game vs that stud stout Bama DL)

And he can run around you with burning speed (see his 100 returns and 70 plus yard runs and his all American track star in NC as a high schooler)

For Shulas O he's a dream come true. Grab him, cut Dwill to open a little cap. Then use rounds 2-3 and FA for OT's and DB's
