Stephen Hill signs to Panthers Practice Squad

Any bets on when/if he gets activated off the PS or if he stays on all year?

My suspicion is if Gettleman and Proehl don't think he's making enough progress after 4-5 weeks to move up to the 53 then they'd probably release him.  If they feel at that point he's either ready for the 53 or close to ready, he'll stay on the PS.

Hill is superior to Bersin and its not even fuging close. Holding down a potential superstar WR for a 4th at best! lmao

I think Hill may be more talented physically. However, this is the absolute best scenario for both sides. Hill has time to work on all the intangibles. He can focus on making himself better.

Hopefully he and his agent are smart. Let him learn the ins and outs of being a receiver from one of the most reliable former NFL receivers. Also, Cotch & Avant can assist him as well. He has the ability to play in this league, but he is raw. Well.....medium rare. I dont believe it is in his best interest to hope on someone elses 53. Hopefully he agrees.

Edit: changed PS to 53

Hill is not better than Bersin? I didn't realize that a more talented WR than 87% of the ones already on the roster has to play special teams to be able to get on the field lol.

When you're talking about someone who, at the moment, is at absolute best a WR4 on a team like Carolina where Olsen doesn't leave the field it makes a huge difference. And before you pitch a fit note that I said at the moment - Hill may tear it up at practice and earn a roster spot but his current body of work is less than impressive, Jets QBs or not.

How is his body of work less impressive if he's already done it in a real NFL game vs the top corners in the NFL?!?? Bersin has done what? Beat Godfrey lol okay everybody has done that
