best place for him. gives him a chance to see whose fault the lack of development was. he gets to learn more about his position and the offense itself as a student without taking the roster spot of someone who already put in the work. most of the league already sees him as a bust which is why he was in a position that a teams practice squad was the best/only option so we don't have to worry about someone coming in and sweeping him up...at least not for a little while.

hopefully proehl plus cotchery and avant can help this kid grow.

He may not be on the practice squad for long once he learns our playbook and works with Proehl.

I speculated he was looking for a job on a 53 roster, but since nothing materialized he took the offer that had the most potential for upward mobility.

Fun fact: while Stephen Hill only mustered about 350 yards receiving last year, the leading receiver on the Jets had 523.

I think it's more of a system problem than an individual player's problem.

Hill passed the physical this morning, will be able to start practicing this week.

wtf? Demote Bersin ass and put Hill on the active roster

This is really such a win all the way around. This is a great, great move.

He gets to work with the best positional coach in the game and a good QB while refining his skill, and down the line we may get a good player out of it.

The only shame is that it didnt happen a little bit sooner so that we could see how he looks in a Panthers uni.
