Based on the comments of some of the players after Chud's departure (Cam being one of them), I don't think there's a snowball's chance in hell of Chud returning even if Shula did go.  With as highly thought of as Dorsey and Proehl are within the organization, I think the new OC would come from within the organization.

Hill could legit be our future no 2 if coached up, him and KB paired together would be insane. I might be jumping ahead here but just picture if Shula did get fired and we brought back Chud next season after Hill and KB had a full year under Proehl. I cant even begin to imagine the wonders Chud could do with KB/Hill

This is always what I've thought to be the case, that the team on whose PS the player resides gets a choice of either calling him up or letting him go.

Better than Bersin

At this point, Bersin contributes to ST, and Hill does not which was the final straw for him in NY. Bersin is also familiar with the playbook while Hill is not. That is why Bersin is more valuable than Hill here this 2nd day of September. In a couple weeks, that may change.

This move appeases both sides of the Hill debate, I would, however, be leary of him getting plucked off the PS roster--I think he might be the first or second person brought up to the roster when injuries occur.

All of this excitement reminds me of when we signed Darius Butler.  Honestly I don't think much will come out of this signing.  I don't see Hill making any kind of leap.  If I was looking for a receiver to play along side KB in the future, I would be looking at Amari Cooper and Sammie Coates.
