Now my question to you.  How much do you think Ricky Proehl had to do with it?  Cam? or was it just the attitude that he was going to come in and show everyone they were wrong.

 

My Opinion?  I think a huge part of it is Ricky Proehl.  The man was a great professional.  He knew his role and knew how to get open.  Knew the tricks of the trade and I think he has been flooding KB with it ever since they drafted him.

 

That said.  Do you think he could do the same with Stephen Hill?  6'4" burner to tag team with KB.  Hard not to consider it.  Hill may not be as quick in picking it up over KB but if he could become the threat he was supposed to be coming out of college.  What a pick up it would be.  It would be like TB or Altanta's duo but with a real QB.

I think its pretty obvious that if KB had gone back to FSU this year and caught a ton of passes from Winston that he would be looking at a top 5 draft spot next season.  We grabbed him right before he blew up in the minds of everyone else.  It already sounds like he would be a top 10 pick if this years draft were redone.

This was all about KB's scheme to get drafted by the Panthers and play with Cam. He played well enough to help win the NC for FSU and get picked in the 1st round, but showed enough bad habits and rawness to drop to the bottom of the 1st and get scooped up by Gman. The plan worked to perfection.

To be honest I wanted Marqise Lee, USC is my college team out here, but I'm certainly glad things went the way they did.

However they may say it, Kelvin, Calvin and even an occasional Kelbin is gonna have a huge rookie campaign, possibly OROY.
