Caplan: Stephen Hill trying out for Panthers today

rather have a not so dynamic guy that can run his routes and catch the ball when thrown to him rather than a really fast guy who can "take the top off a defense" but drops what is thrown to him with regularity.

i'd rather have a guy who took it on himself to better himself every year over a guy who just sits back and blames the coaches for not getting better.

He only had one drop last year according to this:

Sheesh there's a lot of hate in here. Since nobody here personally knows the kid lets lay off the bashing.

If Ricky thinks he can work with him and mold him into the superstar he was projected to be I'm all for this.

No offense to the many great keyboard scouts here but I will take his word and opinions over your own.

Man fug that. Bersin has earned his turn

doesn't necessarily mean bersin is out if we sign him. ricky is going to be looking at this guy hard during the practice

the agent was an idiot to do that. but, it was the jets. Sanchez and Geno. I think if ricky likes what he sees and thinks he can mold him i'm all for it. even if its just PS.

I can agree.

He's getting a tryout, which means they won't just watch him run and catch. They'll interview him too. And in the end, if they judge him worthy, they'll make an offer.

Will be very interesting to see.
