i actually have a feeling we are going to sign this guy.

His QBs have been The Golden Calf of Bristol, Sanchez and a rookie Geno Smith in a putrid offense. Not exactly the best circumstances for a young receiver.  I'm all for giving him a shot.  He's no guarantee to make the team but if he does I've gotta feel positive about it.

I really hope I eat crow but I think this would be a bad signing depending on who we cut to make room for this guy.

I would suggest taking PFF with a grain of salt.  It's not really credible to think that NFL personnel guys use PFF to grade their players or prospects.  If G-man used PFF as the determining factor then he would have never invited Hill for the workout. 

  

What does fantasy football have to do with drops? They watch the tape and record drops. That's that.

 

Grades are totally separate from their stat accumulation. Nothing to take with a grain of salt there. 

 

I said NFL personnel uses it, not all. Many will prefer eye judgement/in house people over analytic.

Whoever he replaced would probably rarely see the field except special teams, and it isn't like Hill will be #2 or #3 WR.

I agree about Brown but if we sign Hill, the team will need a KR/PR again.

Fozzy would be our KR and I also think Bersin would get some looks at PR.

I believe Cason took 2 back in college.
