Having never had kids, I don't see what the big deal is. But, people seem to go gaga over them. Once I learned that chicks dig dogs, that was as far as I wanted to go.

once you look down at them and they look up at you...that's when you know know what the big deal is. when you hold them while they sleep, as they learn to smile and laugh, as they learn to reach up and touch you face, when they reach for you at any time....those are the times you know what the big deal is. there is nothing better.

Congrats for the new bundle! My little Panther fan just turned 3. I love when he copies my celebrations during the game except the time I yelled "suck it crapernick" at the tv.

Hey, kids are great. I love my nieces and nephews. I can do things with them, and when they get on my nerves, I can leave. lol

Also, my dogs all loved me unconditionally. They follow me around, sleep with me, stare at me, lick my face, all sorts of cool things. Try playing fetch with a kid. When I take my dog anywhere, he gets more attention than I do. Man, I love that guy.

And...when the dog gets on my nerves, I can send him to the corner to lay down. Try doing that with a kid. lol

People fawn over kids. They are universally accepted as just plain cool. Having never been through the process, I guess I don't get it.

Kids are cool. Parents are a pain. My kid this, my kid that. Geesh, I don't go around bragging about my dog. lol

All that said. Congrats on yours too. Hope they bring you tons more good than bad.
