We could have a deal in place with someone that is a veteran for after week one so it isn't fully guaranteed.

Being 28 gives us time because it's almost no different than picking up a guy after the dust settles.  We'll take our time with it imo.

If u can improve the roster u do. I think it's just a case of guys we need getting claimed before they get to us. The titans are claiming receivers like crazy

Pretty sure waivers don't work that way. Pretty sure each team gets the same memo and the highest seeded team that says yes gets awarded the player.

Nearly two hours after the waiver deadline past. 

 

One apparently we didn't put any waiver claims in. 

 

I hope they don't wait till it is too late and we don't pick anyone up. 

 

I am not sure the server will handle it if we don't move soon.

 

If there is a veteran with question marks they will wait until week 2 to avoid guaranteed salary.

I noticed Shayne Skov made the 49ers practice squad. I thought that was crazy, the kid was a beast in college and was projected to be a mid round pick. I also saw John Boyett safety from Oregon made Denver's practice squad. I remember hearing good things about him in college.

Philly has a nice group of guys on their practice squad.
