Grateful dead is the most overrated band in the history of overrated bands

 

that's hippie talk! where are they rated that they are overrated?  I would not say they are a top 20 band of all time, so I want to see  if there are enough out there who would rate them that high to deserve "most overrated". Better yet list the overrated bands that they beat out.

when i see someone blindly hate the dead, I automatically assume they're a 12 year old girl with an ipod full of drake ranting about how good their taste in music is

I get the hate for some of the younger people that didn't grow up listening to The Dead and are just trying to be cool by wearing the clothes and the patchouli oil.... But some do really appreciate them and you can usually tell who's who. 

 

I remember talking to a girl who had the bears on the back of here car and I asked her if she like The Dead, she said no, she just liked the bears...

No that 12 year old girl with an iPod full of drake will tell you she loves the greatful dead.

give me a show with Brent or when heroin was about to take Jerry away from everyone... and i'll show you a show that's "sloppy" and still some of the best music on this planet.  jerry was so sad and soulful at the end :(
