OL is made of UDFAs. Great organizations try to put a product on the field every year to contend for at least the playoffs. But this franchise just throw poo on the wall and hope it sticks.

And my initial point was about having ONLY UDFAs at that position. So what is your point exactly? Since I never said I expected to have a team or roster full of drafted players, just that I wasn't a fan of having ONLY undrafted, mediocre (at best), unproven talent at the position. Just trying to cause a stir or what?

Someone on here posted an article during the off-season that pointed out just this. The difference between the best lines and the average lines is not a whole lot. Some bad lines have all drafted players, and some, of course don't have many. And good lines are not always built through the draft.

It almost always comes down to talent evaluation, (Getting guys that fit your scheme.) coaching, and chemistry. You just never know where that good linemen is going to come from.

We'd rather pay a luxury at DE 13 mil for 1 year than to get a really solid tackle or 2 which all went away in the beginning of free agency. We had some good choices then. Now, not so much. It's about my only gripe about DG.

I can understand this line of thinking but you have to remember a quality tackle is most likely going to expect a multi year deal. As it stands right now we really don't have much cap room next year either and this is without Hardy on the books. And we all know at some point we have to pay Cam and Luke.

Also I am sure there is some concern that CJ will not be here much longer so I would hate to lose both players in a two year span. You have to remember all of these decisions were made before Hardy's legal issues and Ealy falling in our lap.
