Seriously if anybody is going to criticize a guy for not developing into an all pro WR on the jets well then they can just gtfo right now

Seriously, that team hasn't churned out a 1000 yard receiver since 2007. They can't all be talentless, awful, unteachable players

So we're to the point that we're at each others throats over some guy that the fugging Jets didn't even want.

Are these people screaming at the top of their lungs about receivers and returners just going to ignore our current OL depth?

Nope, that sucks too. lol.

So does the depth behind DeCoud and Harper.

Basically, we're in a position where, if any of our players get hurt, minus a RB/DT/DE, we're fuged.

Measurables. He's huge.

I watched his whole career at tech. He has no idea how to play the position because of the horse poo offense they run at tech and his years with the jets.

He needs a year to simmer.

And a good QB. They seem to do wonders for WRs

Give him to the dark lord Ricky proehl.

I initially was against it because he bombed so bad in NYJ. That was until his agent said he hoped Carolina would sign him and let him work with Proehl. Apparently he was Proehl agent during Proehl's playing days.

I think if there is anyone who can get something out of him it will be Proehl.   Would hate to see Bersin lose his spot but this could change our season if we had a burner like this guy.

That whole organization has been a dumpster fire the last few years.  Rex has been running his mouth and not backing up a damn thing.  Hell, I watched their first game vs. the Patriots last year and Geno could barely throw passes to wide open receivers with time in the pocket.  But, but Bersin could be our Riley Cooper. Raspberries, cause there is nothing wrong with taking a look at Hill.  If we don't we don't, but Bersin should not factor into the equation.

Let's see....the player who was drafted high and could not learn enough to see the field, a player with nearly every physical gift the good Lord can give a man, only to have his coaches and gm cut him...

. vs

The small college white kid who was not drafted and sat on the practice squad for 2 years, working his ass off, learning from his coach, getting better, and pulling off the unthinkable.....

What to do, what to do?

Is Bersin making this team more about Bersin or more about us sucking ass at WR? I'm tired of hearing about how he worked his ass off, he's not the only player trying to make a team that's worked hard

I don't think we suck ass at WR this year. I think we are young and will make mental mistakes.  About work ethic--  I base it on improvement and growth.  Nobody has improved more than Bersin.  Not all players work as hard as others, and I never said that Bersin was the only player who worked hard.  It is obvious that he has, my only point.

His route running, body positioning, hands--everything he does maximizes his ability to succeed.  That is a kid who listens to his coaches and works to improve.  Do you think McNutt worked as hard as Bersin?  I don't, but we will never know,.  Bersin is going to be an average WR if he succeeds.  However, I am tired of seeing balls getting dropped, and he doesn't do that.
