Okay, let's exclude drops for shits and giggles. That still doesn't exclude the fact he can't run simple routes and handle any DB with average strength at the line. Why the hell would we want a WR that runs a 4.3 but he has trouble getting separation?

Just like his drops, that's overblown.  Plus we have a pretty damned good WR's coach.  But even Proehl can't teach size and speed, if you get what I'm saying.

Look, I am not necessarily a Hill guy, but I'm not necessarily a Brown, Bersin, Cotchery or Avant guy either.  I hope they all prove me wrong.

Basically I am of the opinion that 80 percent of our receiving corps is here by default (in large part thanks to Hurney's legacy). And now that we are in the position that we are in, now everyone wants to be apologists for JAGs as a receiving corps.   That's my take, and I won't change it until they prove me wrong.  And it's going to take an effort twice as good as last year before I will think that we have anything more than glorified placeholders in at least three spots on the receiving corps.

Our receiving corps is whack.  We have probably three guys who should all be WR4s by now, and a project at KR/PR (if not WR).

that is when ricky comes in. getting separation on routes, and route running can be taught. i even read his route running was actually pretty good. why not take a chance on a guy who has the athleticism to be really good?

This guy gets it.

It's less about Hill but more about our WRs just being some dudes.

Let's see....the player who was drafted high and could not learn enough to see the field, a player with nearly every physical gift the good Lord can give a man, only to have his coaches and gm cut him...

                                     .                                                     vs

The small college white kid who was not drafted and sat on the practice squad for 2 years, working his ass off, learning from his coach, getting better, and pulling off the unthinkable.....

What to do, what to do?

Yes the kid worked his butt off... and will likely rarely ever see the field. Take the explosive potential that might thrive with a strong armed QB that can better utilize his strengths, while letting Proehl maximize all those God given gifts

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Z-deAYMziEA Watch this highlight vid and tell me the thought of Hill and KB doesnt excite you. And this was all from Mark freaking Sanchez throwing him the ball.

Get Hill, fire Shula next season and bring back Chud, Rivera have a sit down with Chud and tell him 2011 Chud better show up and not 2012 Chud, have Proehl fine tune Hill.. Super Bowl bound

By December you're not even going to remember Bersin exists
