I was saying Bersin is the 5th string receiver. I still don't see how a nice backstory helps the dude stick on the roster.

If we sign another returner, Philly is gone.

If we sign another receiver that doesn't return kicks, Bersin is gone.

Nailed it. Both Philly and Bersin are expendable, but they're expendable for different reasons because of their skill sets.

Guys, seriously.  We have probably 5% interest in him.  We have done a poo ton of evaluation at the WR position.  I doubt we throw all that away by dropping a player we consider adequate to replace him with an unknown just to undertake the evaluation process all over again and risk him not working out anyway.  I can only imagine what some of your fantasy teams look like.

I don't believe that Stephen Hill will pass through the waiver wire and reach us. However,I feel that the team that gets him may be getting a steal because Hill has never been in a good enough offense that would have help  show his skills.

No one is saying he's bad. It's obvious, though, that if we were to bring in a non- returner WR, Bersin would be in an awkward situation.

Bersin would be the odd man out. I would be surprised if we cut a kid that has worked his way up to a roster spot for a guy who was cut from one.

Yep.   Agent also kind of hinted around that Hill would not be a perfect fit for the Browns, but would give it his all if they pick him up.
