I thought Lester was the future at safety going into last season. I thought he played well last season. Is there any news on Boston going to IR? I keep hearing about it but not seen any official sources.

Lester was promoted from the practice squad after a few injuries.

 

During that Bills game we lost Godfrey for the season but I think Mikell was concussed too. I remember it was a massacre. That is part of the reason they were able to move the ball late.

Seemed to be thinking too much and not reacting. Which is bad if you are slow of foot. Speed demons are able to overcome this, you have know whats about to happen, rather than think about it.

He got a lot of game experience last year, even made some good plays, and still couldn't make this year's roster. I see that as a positive. Not for him of course.

kind of weird about lester.

 

he shined in a lot of games for us last year. but i will admit he looked like straight garbage this preseason. I think the injury did him in more than anything else though.

I was wrong. I wasn't aware that this year the NFL is allowing two spots be players with less than two seasons accrued.

Each club will be permitted to sign a maximum of two Practice Squad players who have earned no more than two accrued seasons of free agency credit.
