I still find it humorous how some question the cuts made. I think the coaches know a bit more than any of us. I'll trust whatever they decide.

I heard someone on wfnz the other day taking about how they thought Chris Scott was a better run blocked than Turner... I almost wrecked when I started laughing.

Scott surprises me for the simple fact that we don't have any OL depth. The guy at least has some game experience. Hoping there's a plan to replace.

So far so good. I cannot really question any cuts so far. King is about the closest  to being a controversial cut. He really disappointed me and sealed his fate with his late showings where he dropped balls he should've caught. When  I think about it, I really like the direct and no nonsense manner which Gettlevera goes about making personnel decisions. So far I have not detected much "incumbent homerism" from these two. You will put up or get up under these guys. I love it. Also I truly believe that they will have absolutely no qualms about cutting certain "bad contract" players when it is advantageous or affordable to the team. Carolina will no longer be a country club for non producing players living off their past achievements. Yes!!!!.

King being released is a mistake

 

Philly is better. King has to work on his route running. He's pretty limited if he doesn't improve that. Philly and TK both were sent on a deep route against Pitt and King couldn't seperate and Philly did and got a big play. Philly also has special teams value.
