Lol, imagine this scenario. You wake up one morning. You go to Steve before the game. You tell him kelvin Benjamin, a rookie, is going to be targeted more than him and Steve is now officially a #2.

Watched him vs. scrubs and he beasted.  I love his intensity.  The Velasco bad snap to Anderson may havve solidified his spot.

He SAID that, but his attitude and style of play indicate otherwise. KB wouldn't have truly been a #1 if Smith was still around. KB can reach his full potential with Smitty out. Just the way it works.

With Boston and Lester going to IR look for us to bring in another safety... Preferably a veteran. We can't rely on Harpers toe and our backups at the position arent going to cut it if one of our starters go down.

I could see them bringing back Chris Scott. Being on the active roster for Week 1 guarantees your salary. Overweight, under motivated players do not need guaranteed salary.

People need to realize it was him getting cut in the first place for Smitty to get this kind of fire back. Smitty didnt show anywhere near this fire with us last season and played in pre season mode all last season. What makes any of you think this year would have been any different, especially with him and KB clashing
