IF we regress, it will be because we play a tough schedule, in a tough Division. Neither of which Gman has any control over. But yeah, let's put it on him.

We may not go 12-4 again this year. But...I do expect us to be competitive, and give the playoffs a real good shot. If that is regression, I'll take it.

He made a lot of bold moves for a team that went 12-4, now if we go back the playoffs we'll all be singing his praises including me. So why shouldn't he get the blame if we regress? And for the poster below me, yea like the schedule can be used as an excuse. You're an NFL gm making millions of dollars, try telling your boss "our schedule was too hard." Like Ron said, they have to play us too.

To avoid the Lame Duck situation the Panthers should have given Rivera a 1 year extension, not multiple as they did,
