The much animosity as Panthers fans we have, I think we could beat the Bucs ass week 1. I don't know if anybody else in the organization reads this or know like we do, which they should cause everybody it seems doubts us, but they should be extra extra motivated

The Panthers' front seven should still be as dominant. But Cam Newton's injury and their offensive line issues are big concerns.

 

So tired of this. You cannot say the Panthers front seven will continue to be dominant and then say the Panthers will fall off because of their OL protection on their QB and their lack of WRs. Did these people fail their logic and reasoning course in college?

 

The Panthers were among the worst in receiving last season. Cam Newton was among the most sacked QBs last season. You cannot go down from there to have a fall off. You can only go up.

 

It is like saying that a person who runs the mile the slowest of 5 runners will fall off because they are going to be slower this season. They are still the slowest on the track.

 

If you say the Panthers will fall off, then you have to reason it to be that their defense or running game will be worse than last season. That they will not be able to convert 3rd downs like they did last season. You can not point to an already deficient area of the team from a previous season, which they overcame with their strengths, as the reason for them to do worse.

 

And as a side note the 49ers and Seahawks OLs are among the worst in the NFL at protecting their QB.

This is actually one of the more positive reviews in the national press.  CBS and Peter King have us going 5-11.  Sports Illustrated has regional covers with cover story of "Where have all the Gunslingers Gone?  The NFC"  And SE region has Brees and Matt Fuggin' Ryan posing on the cover.

 

That's disrespect.

 

I had to read their dribble earlier, because there was nothing else going on.  Now that crap is in the past and my fall entertainment will be how these "experts" will cover their tracks.
