Other NFL cuts of interest....

I would like to give a size/speed freak a chance with a competent QB and the best WR coach in the league. Not sure where the problem is in that.

I never said there was a problem with that. I think it's funny.

Garbage player that hasn't done anything gets cut, other fanbases salivate over getting him. It's not unique to the Huddle or Panther fans. It's everywhere.

Philly fans thought getting Barner was great because of his college resume and the Chip Kelly connection. Yeah he sucked in Carolina but Kelly will get the most out of him what a steal. Lasted on their roster for what, a week?

Just a funny observation that's all. Don't take it personally.

So did Ted Ginn... Prohel can work magic.

Ginn could also had great punt return ability which Hill doesn't have. Ginn also had some pretty bad drops. I don't think Proehl had much to do with the stats he put up. In San Fran he never got the chance to catch the ball being in the bottom of the depth chart while he was our #3 WR here. When he played for Miami he put up similar numbers. I think Ricky Prohel is a great coach but he didn't do much to improve Ginn.

@josephperson: Stephen Hill's agent says he hopes CAR puts claim in 4 Stephen Hill. "Ricky Proehl could do wonders w/ Hill."-Alan Herman, who repped Proehl

This is awesome to hear. Not only because I want Hill but because it shows how much Ricky is respected around the league.

Let Ricky do work!

    • What are the matchups, stats and superlatives?   I think this will be a hard game. Bucs are a very balanced team on offense:  7th  in total yards per game, 7th in passing, 10th in rushing. Baker is having another career year even better than last year but despite missing his Godwin and Evans. Bucs defense is poor (29th) particularly passing defense, but we’re also depleted in our receiving with Coker and Sanders likely out. Running Chuba is key but their defense is better against the run. (16th) I think this is likely going to require us to score a lot of points to keep up and hopefully the home field advantage tips the scale in our favor. My other concern is our run defense and being able to stop their rookie study Bucky Irving who the Bucs have shifted more carries to recently and he’s averaging 5.4 ypc and knows how to get into the endzone with 5 TDs so far.
    • This is nonsense and you know it. People will be happy when we are consistently and convincingly winning games against good teams. There are people in here talking down to others after losses and barely beating the terrible NY Giants. If you want to strut around here like only you are a real Panthers fan and rage pooing posts because your jimmies are rustled then hey good luck with all that. I hope you have a lovely Thanksgiving.
    • Who had the massive meltdown last year? Hope they feel better this year.
