Is it still to early to be worried about Byron Bell?

Players get beat.

How quickly we forget the struggles Gross gad when he first played LT for the Panthers.

It made fans cry for most of his career, that he was nothing but a RT.

Now people realize just how good Gross was.

Not an all pro, but certainly a solid LT.

Bell us our LT for this season. That makes me expect to hear crying about it all season long.

What? You seem to be remembering a different player than I.

Gross was an All Pro.

I wouldn't think it's too early to be worried but, it's too early for anyone to start calling for his head. I hope the team picks up someone who can be called upon to step in at LT so we don't get caught with our pants down if Bell seriously struggles these first few games.

How many years of mediocre performance does the guy get?  If he wasn't undrafted, people here would have been calling for his head years ago.  But because it is a great story, everyone pulls for him despite being the weakest link in the o-line each year.  I'll never forget all the love the guy got his first year of starting.  It was almost sickening.

Bell was often left standing around not blocking anyone, and generally looking lost like he's never played the position before.

I would like to see at least one veteran tackle added to the OL after cuts. We'll see I guess.

Glad I'm not the only one who sees this. I mostly see this in his run blocking where he's not engaged with anyone and just trots around the last few seconds of the play

Two starters I wish would get cut.. Bell and D Will

Dwill probably is going to be cut after the end of this season. his dead money is would only be 300K more than his salary so he's probably gone, especially if Stewart plays well.

Bell however, i wouldnt mind keeping as a backup. but that is if and only if we can find some better talent
