Newton in his prime had a howitzer for an arm and was built like a greek god. When you are that physically gifted things like footwork can be worked around more often. Still. If he had actually adequately addressed it he could have had a different career. And he's already someone who is IMO a hall of famer sooner or later. So what does that tell you about how important it is? We need to let Bryce Young stand on his own two feet as his own QB. We forfeited exorbitant resources to secure the rights to draft him under the pretense that we would not have to surround him with elite pieces across the board. That along with his much discussed improvisational skills were the key selling points from the media and our front office. I sincerely hope he and Canales are putting heavy emphasis on Bryce's footwork because defenses already know what's coming since that's all over the tape. We can't hide from it. -
