well see if it last, all i hear is hype for bortles, manziel and carr... but theyve yet to even win a game in the pros yet... unlike Bridgewater who too me is a better talent than all of them

I thought so as well, until I saw them play.

Carr looks really good, and BW looks lost out there.

Carr gets the least hype of Bortles, Manziel and Bridgewater. Of the four, Carr was the only one that didn't play in a BCS conference, Carr was the only one that didn't play in a major bowl game (Bridgewater was MVP of Sugar Bowl vs Florida, Bortles was Fiesta Bowl MVP vs Baylor, Manziel was MVP of Cotton Bowl vs Oklahoma), Carr was the only one that didn't have any big wins in college (Carr and Fresno State got blown out in a minor bowl vs #19 USC, blown out during season by #2 Oregon, etc), Carr was the only one not drafted in the 1st Round of the 2014 Draft, Carr was the only one not even at Radio City Music Hall in New York City for the 2014 Draft, and Carr is the only one of the four that is still not in the Top 10 of NFL rookies in jersey sales

as for Bridgewater, he looked good in his first game vs Saints, great in his 2nd game vs Falcons, but understandably terrible vs the #1 defense in the NFL last week (the same Lions D that made Aaron Rodgers look terrible earlier this season). There's no doubt he in the future in Minneapolis over Matt Cassel and Christian Ponder

NFL.com yesterday:

"If you're a Raiders fan searching for hope, look toward Derek Carr, the rookie passer who made big plays downfield last week against the Chargers and again on Sunday . His strong arm and poise under pressure are welcome concepts for a team that's shuffled through quarterbacks with a fury in recent years."
