I think maybe you should refrain from posting idiotic threads linking racist websites in the tinderbox before calling others dumb.

Btw show me where I called him dumb. Like I said, you just like to throw poo at the wall just to see if an argument will start or keep going.

Thanks for addressing the topic of the thread.

No problem.

Given the choice from that list, I'd probably go for Leon Washington but it's far from certain the Titans will part with him.

They do have other options in the return game (Dexter McCluster, Marc Mariani) but Washington's been decent so you might have to part with a low draft pick to get him.

Mariani might be another name worth noting there (might edit him in).

You were still trying to tell everyone that David Gettis would turn into a real WR just earlier this year.

So how are you going to keep shitting on this young man after only one preseason?

You find where I said Gettis would be a real receiver earlier this year.  As a matter of fact I haven't said anything about Gettis since he was cut this time last year.

Furthermore, I am not shitting on Brown, I said that he should be well beyond muffing punts.  A kick returners first job is to secure the catch.  This is a fact.  This kid is not a converted QB trying to become a return man. I also said that I would prefer not to be nervous on every kick.

At the end of the day the decision is not mine, so I'll deal with it either way, but I'm not for keeping a KR on the roster by default.  I want one that can at least catch the ball, and hopefully do a little with it.

Even with converted QBs....they either are returners immediately or they never will be good at it.

It was something about him having more yards than Underwood this season, then he got cut, again...

Anyways, if Brown doesn't work out, so be it. Back to the drawing board. But I'm not going to simply expect him to fail at this point.

Rivera commenting on Philly Brown post game...

Full quote from BBR (link)

“Yes, without a doubt. That’s why he’s here. He’s going to have to make those plays and make those things happen. He has to practice.”

I don't know if that sounds fully committed.

Could be one of those cases where they're 'happy' with their guy...until someone else comes available.

Man, the whole quote has a totally different tone to it than what Voth put on Twitter.

The only thing I ever said about Gettis earlier this year was that in my opinion he should have gotten the nod over Hixon but didn't due to injury and being in Rivera's doghouse.  The past is the past. I do my crying, then let things go.  Anyway...

If you like Brown, it's all good.  As for me, I think this is a case where the answer is off the roster.  But, if Brown makes it, then so be it.  Perhaps this perfect storm of the lack of talent on the roster, and the lack of money in the coffers will give Brown the time he needs to succeed (at least for this year).  I have my doubts, but I'm not G-man.

After watching our OL again tonight, and with Chandler dealing with a knee injury, I'm more interested in acquiring a veteran tackle.
