You mean if we do all the work for him and put him in a great scenario with space he can make a good play? Can't that be said for about 50 RBs?

If you gave touches to lots of average RBs.....they would have production too.

Williams can't run between the tackles....and he can't pop it outside anymore. That means he can't create on his own.

Give a huge hole to 50 RBs in the NFL and they will have a great run. Dump off to one wide open with blockers and they will have a nice one too.

What does Williams do well consistently? Riddle me that

No. He is a JAG now. The Williams apologists hear that and interpret it as someone claims he is the worst RB in the NFL. JAGs are on every roster and in every backfield. You can't not have them.

But if you want to claim he is more than a JAG....then you gotta be able to come up with something Williams consistently does

Well when ur partner in crime gets hurt on every play(looks at j stew) it's understandable that he runs to not get hurt

God i wish. but you know he isnt. not with the $$$ we are forking over to him. organization has to save face somehow. i do hope jStew gets the start over Dlo every game this season. i truly think if Stewart has a good year, this will be Williams' last in Carolina. with that being said, there's this....

agreed. makes me wonder if we could transition Williams to more of a RB/TE hybrid. either way... the Panthers have to use Dlo the right way to get anything out of him. let Stewart take the vast majority of carries and stick Williams out in space as a receiving target
