That LavonteDavid nerd goes by Buccaneers4ever on the pewterreport forum.   He basically resembles this guy in real life.

It is weird. Well, considering they look to be the most uneducated douches on these boards. You should be a mod here. At least you're witty and knowledgeable unlike those clowns. 

 

Most of the posters here are pretty smart and funny, they just don't care enough about the Bucs to put any effort into a response. Nobody outside the 8 people that compose the Bucs fanbase really pays any attention to that team and we're saving our good smack for teams that are actually relevant. Normally I'd be in the same boat as everyone else but you were lucky enough to catch me on an off day and I'm bored.

The problem with this type of logic is that is simplistic and without context. For example tackles are always a function of opportunities . So it isn't just tackles but tackles as a function of total defensive plays or time of possessions or something. Luke not only had 12 more tackles but he did it on 45 fewer opportunities. The casual fans point to quantity stats while knowledgable fans on this board point out quality stats which are in context. For example if one player has 3 sacks on 50 blitzes attempts while another primarily plays in coverage and blitzes once and gets to the quarterback, which one did better? Look at Richard Sherman's stats and tell me if he is better than Byron Maxwell who had 1 interception and 2 passes defended by numbers alone. Of course not because Sherman did his job which was shut down that side of the field. Stats have to be in context so if you want to discuss which one is better go do your homework and then come back to at least make a cogent justified rationale for why David is better. I have plenty for why Luke is not only better than David but why he is arguably the best player in the league. Meanwhile me and the udders are gona sit a spell and spit terbacki in our fancy spittoon next to the laptop. Yeeeee Hawwwww. Y'all!!!!
