Who was it that told me the meatloaf at Tavern on the Tracks was good?

Who actually orders meatloaf at a restaurant?

this is sort of my thought as well.  Meatloaf is sort of a peasant dish made for housewives that can't cook much else.

Would be like going to a restaurant and ordering a green bean casserole.

Definitely a peasant dish (alice) but I would argue that it takes a well seasoned cook to do it properly.  My wife can cook anything but she can't touch my momma's/mawmaw's meatloaf.

Nobody cooks meatloaf like mawmaw does.

Worst meatloaf I've ever had was at Nan and Byron's over on South Blvd. The entire meal was so bad, I actually wrote a bad review, something I'm usually unmotivated to do even after a bad dining experience, because who cares, right? I felt I owed it to others to point out how terrible the food was.
