Wharton was a cool guy and all, but we lost better and more important football players this offseason. it just shows the media's delusion that they would point out Wharton as the next reason why Carolina will tumble

i want to point out that they have always picked us to be poo. Have we proved were not a poo franchise? ..looking simply at winning seasons.

For 20 years weve pointed and said they were wrong, but they were right most of the time. We should be a humble fan base and not bash an ohtlet because they dont for see us to be good. We know we have to be better and we need to EARN that respect. Our franchise has not EARNED the benifit of the doubt when it comes to predictions. Plus, stop looking for the media solid material. We all know its for ratings and bullshit. You cannot expect a money driven entity to be fair to us, especially when we have not been consistent.

The thing that get's me is that I can't seem to find anyone actually backing the Panthers in the media. After 12-4 and I figure there would be one schmuck saying...with that defense and Cam they should find their way into the playoffs.

I must say, i somewhat agree. Cam just doesnt look like himself at all, something just seems off, im sure its partly his ankle but he just doesnt look as confident. I see this as a "pit stop" year, I do think that come next season will come back with a vengenance with Cam not being so skittish and KB having a year under his belt.

I see 6 wins being our floor and 9 wins our ceiling. I just dont get there is a sense of urgency this year at all. Training camp has been too laid back, Rivera won COY and the division so he now he is comfortable and knows hes not going anywhere. I just dont see the fire in this team this year that I did last year, bash me all you want but I just dont.

As far as Cam goes, I think once the real bullets start flying and he gets a game under his belt he will be himself.

Cam always looks shaky in the preseason. I still think this is the best he has looked as a preseason passer.

I still say 9-7. I think assuming Webb can play half as good during the regular season as he has in pre season, we could win 9 games with him under center with our D. Before you think im crazy, just remember back to The Golden Calf of Bristol and the Broncos making a playoff run because of the D. Even if DA started it wouldnt scare me like it does other fans.

Yes Cam is better than DA, but the gap between him and DA arent as far apart as some on here make it out to be.
