King is a better WR than Hill and it's not even close

Wait so what your saying is king has made how many receptions and has actually made how many game day rosters?. Let's not jump to conclusions on one preseason and a handful of practices. It's most certainly closer than your making it out to be.

I think I'd rather keep King.

If you want to make a project of Stephen Hill, I'd rather it not be at the expense of a kid who looks like he has potential. You could easily wind up with Hill bombing here too, and then having to watch King blow up for someone else.

Well if we keep 5 WR's as some are predicting King could end up getting cut anyway. I think Hill would be worth keeping 6 for as Hill could step in an be our number 3. Hill is actually a year younger than King.

All off season I heard about King and McNutt and how we don't even need a WR in the first from alot of posters. Well, Mcnutt is already gone and it's not like King is tearing it up. He had a good first preseason game and that's been about it.

Hill is only 23 and playing in NY can really beat up on ones confidence. Especially a young kids like Hill, who was really raw coming out of college and was expected to be somewhat of a project. Instead the Jets immediately plugged him into the 2nd WR role.

Hill also has great speed (4.28 at combine), something we don't have in this group. He could be our new Ginn. Line him up in the slot and let him go. Ginn didn't catch everything thrown his way but he helped keep the defense honest

I beg to differ, Hill has play making ability and under Proehl with Cam and Benji, could be pretty good.  Not sure how his name popped up though, Jets are certainly going to give him every opportunity to prove himself.

My statement wad based on watching them both in college. King produced while Hill was a combine warrior.

I'm not a Stephen Hill fanatic by any means, but comparing numbers in college for King versus Hill is ridiculous. King played in a wide open, spread offense with a QB who could put up 3000 yards like it was nothing.

Hill played in a triple option offense where he hardly ever had a chance to show his skills, because GT runs the ball 50 times a game.

Hill is a bust so far and a waste of money. I cant see that happening. Smarter to find Oline insurance and safety help right now.Our needs in the areas mentioned trump more recievers at this point.

Hill is better than King. To suggest he isn't is laughable and blatant homerism. To what degree he is better is debatable, sure, but he is better in general. He has game reps, he has in-game catches, he has scored in the league against starting DBs.

i agree oline is more important at this point, but Hill did have some terrible QB's throwing him the ball for the Jets his first two years.  he was very raw coming out of college, the Jets should have known he'd need at least two years to develop.
