Jeff Otah looks like an All-Pro

Rookie DE Everette Brown said the defense is finally starting to sink in and he’s hoping to play at full speed soon. After watching him rush the passer — and his run defense may be underrated — Brown (43rd overall) looks like a steal in the second round.

6. Second-year RT Jeff Otah looks like an All-Pro this summer. He told me he knows what he’s doing after spending his rookie season asking Delhomme what to do on plays on his way up to the line of scrimmage. Otah regularly de-cleated defenders during the team scrimmage at practice.

Our offense is going to be deadly this year, even if Smitty's hurt longer than a few weeks. It starts with the line, and we have a great one. If that unit stays healthy, then we'll be able to run the ball with impunity. That opens up all kinds of possibilities.

I'm really starting to get impatient for opening day. :)

And everyone who criticized trading away our 1st round pick (to take another 1st round pick) now look like idiots.

When we drafted Otah I was a little worried about what his work ethic would be like, and his past injuries, but the dude is a beast! He is a straight mauler and probably the best run blocker on our team.

Also, reading point #4 from that blog gave me goosebumps.
