Cam has never had a good preseason: here is the hard proof

I'm not worried about both. His ankle and rib will heal just fine. What I am worried about is the 467 hits he's taken in three seasons. Cam needs stronger protection.

 

Something no one wants to seriously discuss. Instead the much rather sit and discuss how long Cam holds a ball.

 

Maybe there needs to be a side to side viewing of Cam, Brady, Peyton, and Luck, and see where Cam fits in vs. the length of protection each QB receives from their O-line.

I am seriously beginning to believe that some of u spend more time listening to the media than seriously paying attention to your team. How did Cam have a worst 2012? Because he didn't duplicate 2011 season or because your team won one more game in 2012 than the season before?

Plus, I am sure there are a whole lot more variables going into these preseason games than simply teams going out and playing against other teams. That is why u keep hearing folks say, don't put so much stock in those preseason games. For some teams, preseason is simply to weed out.

I was going to say something about the "his worst year" comment but then I thought technically he has to have had a worst year. It's hard to say last year even though his numbers were down because of the team success. And it's hard to say his rookie year because of how he shattered expectations.

I don't think he meant anything negative about it. He didn't say he had a bad year just that it was his worst year.

Because preseason is for practicing the weaker part of your game.

 

The coaches need to be fired immediately if they allow a player to work on their weaknesses in a regular season game.

 

Look at AJ Klein the other night lost and slow on the field when he was put into Kuechly's defensive QB spot. Coaches won't allow that when the season starts.

We tried a lot of different things last week when we already had key players out. We deserved to get beat that bad.

"Worst" does not equal "bad" necessarily. Cam was bad the first half of 2012 and great the second half. Overall, his worst season.

I'm more concerned at the overall lack of urgency that this team has. They look more like they "made it" than a group still looking to prove they belong.
