Most of the people who vote that Cam isnt getting ridof it fast enough are the same ones who said it in past years.

It was wrong then, and it's wrong now. Ive noticed it's primrily the TV crowd who cannot see what's happning down field and generally dont make the connection that most of what is transpiring isnt happening on their TV screen.

This year we will see, and I believe our WR corp will be improved, but OL play, playcalling and chemistry with new players are the 3 main factors.

So it is everything OTHER than Cam...got it

With Cam coming off an injury, no time in OTA's, and a new WR corp, Shula has been force feeding the passing game to work through the rust.

Plays take too long to develop this past week, however i think that was by design to see what we could do against good corners. we could have called quick slants on 3rd and short.

how is this poll even close???? Pats know we have a good pass rush so its dink and dunk ball out quick. we have crappy oline and wait for deep routes all the time??? this isnt even a question is it????

That is exactly what was going on. I swear they passed 90% of the plays with Cam in. There was no real focus on any other aspect till DA came in. And it really sucks cut Cam needed some more reps.

Slow developing plays. There are ways to disguise a bad o-line. We did it a -lot- during our winning streak in the middle of last season. Then got cute and stopped to end the year and in the playoffs. No surprise we started losing more then.

You know what you have in your backs and TEs for the most part. So, you work your receivers and OL. Makes sense.

 

When the season starts up you will get your screens, traps, counters, draws, smoke routes, bootlegs and options.

The passing game is lacking a true number one. One true number one is better than 4 slot receivers.
