Problem number one is that you take stock in what Gannt says.

I love this team but im also a realist but the way things are looking, there is a better chance we get a top 5 pick than make the playoffs at this point.

Just more cons than pros. Cam injury, brand new WR corps with no chemistry aside from Benjamin, shotty O line, Hardy distraction, TOUGH TOUGH schedule.

The only thing going for us is our D

Panthers will not be picking top 5, period. I'm not saying the playoffs are a lock but, if they miss the playoffs they will be picking in the 14-18 range.

And by the way, this defense can and will win games ,though it's not the "only" thing going for this team.

And since when has the Hardy situation really been a distraction for this team?

Well im not the only one, Darrin Gannt just tweeted that chances are high we end up like the 2013 Redskins this season

Second time I have seen a similar post in reference to Gantt.

Rule of thumb is that if you and Gantt are on the same page when it comes to Charlotte teams, you should reevaluate your position.

I don't think Gantt has an ace to grind with the Panthers per se, but he is not on the inside by any means at this point.

He tried his best to bury this team last after week 4. I think he is good for historical perspective on the Panthers bc he covered them for so long, but like him or not, Person is much more in tune with what's going on with the team at this point

Gantt definitely has an axe to grind. If you corresponded with him before and after he was taken off the beat, and put on Winthrop volleyball beat before PFT hired him, there is a clear difference.
